The Wheatsheaf

The Wheatsheaf has seen many changes over the centuries, but as a Grade II listed building, it has been kept as true to its heritage as possible. Believed to have been built around the end of the 14th century, clues to its age and previous owners have at times been uncovered during renovations.

Now known for beautifully-prepared, locally-sourced food and a fine selection of wines and real ales, The Wheatsheaf is a cosy haven in the winter with roaring log fires and in the summer, soak up the sun in their large garden.
